Submitting Work to TR Media
TR Media welcomes submissions and proposals for publication across its editorial platforms, including Digital Forensics Magazine, the Briefing Centre, and related publishing projects. We are interested in work that is evidence-led, methodologically sound, and relevant to professional practice.
Submissions may be complete manuscripts or early-stage proposals. We are equally open to discussing developing ideas where the core concept is strong and aligned with our publishing remit.
Who Can Submit
We welcome submissions from:
-
Practitioners working in digital forensics, cyber security, and investigations
-
Academic researchers and doctoral candidates
-
Policy professionals and analysts
-
Independent specialists and subject-matter experts
We do not require prior publishing experience, but submissions should demonstrate technical competence and a clear understanding of the topic area.
Editorial Review Process
All submissions are reviewed for relevance, clarity, and alignment with TR Media’s editorial standards. This may include requests for revision, clarification, or further development prior to publication.
Our editorial process is collaborative where appropriate. We aim to support contributors in refining their work while maintaining independence, integrity, and consistency across all published material.
How to Submit
Initial contact can be made via the Contact page. When getting in touch, it is helpful to include:
-
A brief summary of the proposed topic
-
The intended format (article, briefing, research paper, etc.)
-
Any relevant background or context
Formal proposals are welcome, but not required. Early discussion is encouraged where ideas are exploratory or still in development.
Responsible Publishing
TR Media is committed to responsible and ethical publishing. Submissions should respect legal, ethical, and professional obligations, including considerations around confidentiality, attribution, and responsible disclosure.
